About Us

Brothers, Mike & John Garofalo started the Harvey Cedars Shellfish Company in 1974. They had no idea their small restaurant would become a Harvey Cedars landmark and a summer tradition for so many families for the next 50 years.

The restaurant is situated in a 1920’s beach cottage. The ramp and porch were added in 1980, and the outdoor dining area was added in 2020, but the bones of the building remain the same.

The menu has always focused on the simple preparation of fresh, local seafood.

We are proud and honored to be celebrating our 50th season in 2024!
