WHY VISIT: If you haven’t been to this Long Beach Island restaurant since it opened 42 years ago, what are you waiting for? That’s a long run for a seasonal business, said Mike Garofalo, who owns the restaurant with his brother, John. The fish in their kitchen comes from Viking Village, a commercial seafood facility in nearby Barnegat Light. “This week we have salmon, tuna, mahi and swordfish,” Garofalo said. “You get your choice of fish and a selection of toppings.” The toppings include fresco sauce, made with Kalamata olives, artichoke hearts and capers, and bruschetta made with tomatoes and fresh roasted corn. Lobster and crab macaroni and cheese will be served this year, and diners can order seafood ceviche with lemon lime sauce.

WHEN: 4:30 to between 9 and 10 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through the end of June, when the restaurant will be open daily.
